Before you, I never knew it was possible to love someone with such depth and devotion. I used to think stories about mothers whose lives changed the instant they held their child were exaggerated until I held you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every birth story is different. Every mother\u2019s journey is unique. But what binds us all is the shared experience of motherhood. So on this Mother\u2019s Day, I\u2019m writing this letter to you, my daughter, to reflect on our story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"The_Truth_About_Bonding:_It_Wasnt_Instant_And_That\u2019s_Okay\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"the-truth-about-bonding-it-wasnt-instant-and-thats-okay\"><\/span><strong>The Truth About Bonding: It Wasn&#8217;t Instant And That\u2019s Okay<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you were growing inside me, I imagined countless moments of our life together. But when you were finally in my arms, love didn\u2019t flood in right away. All I wanted was for the pain to stop, for the exhaustion to fade. Feeding you wasn\u2019t easy, even with your daddy by my side and even when everything was \u201cworking.\u201d I had to find my own path to bond with you and I did. Our love grew gradually, quietly, in those tender first weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I was overwhelmed &#8211; emotionally, physically, hormonally. It was the middle of a global pandemic. I was alone, missing my own mother deeply. But in that isolation, you and I found a rhythm. An intimacy.  Your daddy was with us for the first eight weeks, sharing every &#8220;first&#8221; with you. Then it was just us, and those months became the foundation of our bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"You_Changed_Me:_From_Control_to_Chaos_to_Clarity\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"you-changed-me-from-control-to-chaos-to-clarity\"><\/span><strong>You Changed Me: From Control to Chaos to Clarity<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before you, I was used to being in control\u2014planning every detail, leading every project. But motherhood shattered that version of me, and from the pieces, I built someone better. Someone who could flow with your needs, your surprises, your laughter. I let go of perfection and embraced presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019ve seen me do it all : cook, clean, work, play and you\u2019re already mimicking it in your tiny, confident way. When others marvel at how independent and self-assured you are, I think back to those early days. That was our beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"To_My_Daughter:_Be_Bold,_Be_You\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"to-my-daughter-be-bold-be-you\"><\/span><strong>To My Daughter: Be Bold, Be You<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now you are no longer a baby, but a little girl with a heart full of kindness and courage. Keep growing, my love. Take up space. Be loud. Be seen. You were born into a world that often underestimates girls&#8230;..<strong><em>but I never will<\/em><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I will always be your biggest cheerleader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019ll teach you everything I can. I\u2019ll support you when you fall. I\u2019ll show you my strength and my weakness\u2014because I want you to know what it means to be human, not just a \u201cperfect woman.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Mama_Will_Always_Be_the_Wind_Beneath_Your_Wings\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"mama-will-always-be-the-wind-beneath-your-wings\"><\/span><strong>Mama Will Always Be the Wind Beneath Your Wings<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grow fearless, my child.
